Wow! I'm so happy to hear that the transplant happened sooner than later and that all is going well. We've been thinking about the whole Harter family and especially Rick, hoping that you'll all manage to get through this difficult time.

ReplyDeleteYou've got a 40 year-olds liver....hmmm...does that mean you get to drink for an extra 10 - 15 years beyond the rest of us before doing as much damage:). See there's always an upside.
Seriously, Rob has kept our family all up to date on your surgery and trek to the Mayo Clinic almost in real time (Rob's always good that way). I'm so very happy the surgery went well and you're on the road to recovery.
Jeanine, your boy waited on me two days ago when we were in Macy's buying Steve's wedding suit. Sam looks fantastic and so sweet. Of course, I've had many an ice cream this summer, and Jake as always gives me extra special love when I see him.
Hope you're good. Let me know if I can send you any Quantum lip balms, lotion, etc... so for the time being I'll just send oodles of love to you both.
